Sift air purifier protects the entire home by monitoring sensors in different rooms. The sensor network allows for accurate tracking of air quality for optimal purifier placement. Particulate on the display represents the air quality of a room and clears away as the room is purified.
Can one purifier protect a house?
Air quality in the home is critical for personal health. Sift monitors and protects the entire home with localized sensors allowing for highly accurate air monitoring. The user is alerted which room requires the most purification. Sift can be placed on any node for quick charging. The circular display provides air quality information and visually represents how pure the current room is. Hidden venting provides a subtle presence that integrates into any room.
Visual Purity
The metaphor of transformation guided forms and interactions. I explored warm/soft forms that fit into various home environments. The decision to hide venting allowed for a more subtle presence.
